Dr. Galen S. Karriker
Conductor - WD Packard Concert Band
Director of Bands and Professor of Music at The University of Akron. He conducts the Symphonic Band and coordinates the entire university band programs, including Directing “Ohio’s Pride,” The University of Akron Marching Band, and coordinating the Blue and Gold Brass basketball bands. Dr. Karriker also teaches courses in instrumental conducting and marching band techniques.

DR. STEPHEN L. GAGE
Former Conductor
Stephen L. Gage has served as Professor of Conducting and Director of Bands at Youngstown State University's Dana School of Music since 1993. He holds degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, the Eastman School of Music, and the State University of New York at Fredonia where he also earned the Performers Certificate.
